Description: Flowers of Myristicaceae. A.Virola michelii based on Mori et al. 23346. Note that the filaments are fused into a column called the androphore. B. Osteophloeum platyspermum based on Mori et al. 23893). Note that the flowers are 3 merous and have uniseriate perianths. Both collections are from central French Guiana.
