Definition:

A pericarp with the outer surface with scattered white dots.

Notes:

In the Lecythidaceae, a few species have fruits with the outside of the pericarp covered with white dots which are interpreted as lenticels. Examples are Couratari guianensis and Lecythis pneumatophora.
