The leaf on the left is imparipinnate (odd pinnate) and the one on the right is paripinnate (even pinnate). Note the stipules at the base of the petiole and stipels at the base of the leaflets.

Definition:

Pinnate with an odd number of leaflets; i.e., without a terminal leaflet. Same as imparipinnate.
