Description: Seedling of Lecythis tuyrana based on Mori 1705 from Panama. The embryo lacks cotyledons, the seed coat is attached to the to the top of the embryo and will soon be shed, and the first eophylls (true leaves) have emerged. This is also called a macropodial embryo.
