Description: A species of bat taking nectar from Parkia decussata based on Mori et al. 25564 from the Nouragues Nature Park, French Guiana. The bat is Lonchophylla thomasi , a nectar bat taking nectar from the groove between the red and white part of the flower head. This bat was photographed in captivity so it is not known with certaintly if the bat visits this species in nature.
