Description: Pinnately compound leaves. From the Guide to the Vascular Plants of Central French Guiana. Part 1 (Mori et al., 1997). The leaf on the left is imparipinnate (odd pinnate) and the one on the right is paripinnate (even pinnate). Note the stipules at the base of the petiole and stipels at the base of the leaflets.
