Description:

Gregarious. Pileus 3.3-6.1 cm diam, finely scaly, reddish brown (6D6, 6E6) with dark brown scales more concentrated at the center or in young specimens, then becoming sparse and light brownish (&f6, 8E7) toward the edges with the growth. Flesh light yellow, turning blue after 30 sec when exposed. Lamellae decurrent, sometimes detaching from teh stipe in oldeer materials, yellow (4A6, 4B5), lamellulae present, interveins seen only in part of the hymenophore of one of the older specimens, very small interveins seen at the bottom of the lamellae. It turns blue when bruised. Stipe equal, entire, reddish brown (8E7), finely scaly, with a yellow basal mycelium (3A2), flesh light yellow, whitish in the middle and reddish at the tip. NH4- blue on the top of the pileus.
