Description:

Pileus 5-10 cm broad. Stipe 8-11 cm long, 3-4.5 cm broad, equal or slightly tapering downward. Pileus heavily appressed tomentose. Stipe on young material with obvious velar ridge. Rapidly bluing with bruising.
Habitat:

Tuart forest. Eucalyptus gomphocephala, Agonis flexuosa. Gregarious. On sand.
