Ectomycorrhizae: In forest of Dipterocarpaceae (Shorea).
Distribution: India, Thailand.
Commentary: Molecular inference from sequences of the atp6 gene placed Rhodactina in the Boletaceae. See Yang et al., 2006. Mycotaxon 96: 133-140. Further work by Vadthanarat et al (2018) using atp6, tef1, and rpb2 infer strong support for placement in subfam. Leccinoideae.
Number of species: 3 - R. himalayensis, R. incarnata, R. rostratispora.
