Description:
Diagnosis: Pileus rugose and pubescent. Context whitish, unchanging. Hymenophore white becoming pink to purplish, not staining. Stipe with red to purplish red scabrous squamules, with base chrome yellow to golden yellow. Spores pinkish to pale purple, smooth, subfusoid or ellipsoid. Pileipellis an ixohyphoepithelium. Clamp connections absent.
