Description:

Stem solitary, 2 m to lowest leaf; leaves 19, all trijugate; infructescence intrafoliar, red; fruits black, glossy. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Association Iriartea, Welfia, Cryosophila, Oenocarpus, Astrocaryum standleyanum, Neonicholsonia, Geonoma congesta, Bactris.
