Description:

Pileus 2.5-4 cm broad, plano-convex to plane, dry, tomentose, brown (6E8-7), dark blue-green with NH4, eventually dull lilac. Flesh white, 4-10 mm thick, unchanging, blue green with NH4 near pileus surface, eventually dull lilac. Lamellae decurrent, close, anastomosed to subporoid, yellow, not bluing on injury, with even edges. Stipe 2-3 cm long, 6-8 mm broad, ±equal to tapering downward, curved, dry, pale brown to brown, finely pruinose, with yellow basal mycelium, with interior white to brown, unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
Habitat:

Quercus copeyensis, Q. seemanii. scattered. soil.
