Description:

Gregarious. Pileus 3-3.5 cm broad, plane, dry, subtomentose, light brown, with NH4 (ammonium ion) dark brown. Flesh white, unchanging, (-) with NH4, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae decurrent, mostly lamellate but anastomosed and forked, slightly bluing when cut. Stipe 4-5 cm long, 4-7 mm broad, equal, dry, subpruinose to subpruinose ridged, light brown above, yellow at and toward base, with interior white to pale brownish. Yellow basal mycelium. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
Habitat:

Quercus copeyensis; Q. seemannii. On soil, humus.
