Description:

Pileus 1-3 cm broad, dry, subvelutinous, wavy to irregularly rugulose, convex-depressed with a low acute umbo, 7F4 when young, near 8E8 with age; margin incurved. Flesh whitish, up to 2 mm thick, unchanging and not staining when exposed, imperceptibly acrid. Odor pungent and sweet, ¯fragilisor camphoratus-like, especially so when dried. Lamellae subdecurrent, close to crowded, 6A4-6B5, not marginate, not staining. Latex watery white, unchanging and not staining. Stipe 2.5-3 cm long, 3-6 mm broad, more or less glabrous to pruinose, equal, terete or compressed an cleft, concolorous or somewhat paler than cap, dry; interior hollow. Spore deposit not obtained.

Montane forest. Quercus humboldtii. Gregarious. On soil.
