Description:

Pileus 2.8 cm broad, plane surface velvety, margin slightly recurved, dark brown (6F5) with black dots near the margin. Hymenophore lamellate with venations on the lamellae, yellow (3A6), less bright when old (1A7), lamellulae presetn. Stipe 2.5 x 3 cm, equal, light reddish brown (6B4) with small brownish scales. Yellow basal mycelium. Flesh whitish to creamy (6A2). Ammonia positive (blue) at the pileus surface, becoming pale lilac after approx 15 minutes. Smell sweet, taste mild.
Habitat:

Montane cloud forest. Quercus copeyensis, Q. rapurahuensis. Gregarious. On soil.
