Description:

Two basidiomes. 1.5-2 cm broad, dry, heavily matted fibrillose to matted tomentose, with pale pinkish to pale brownish pink tints. Flesh yellow, quickly cyanescent throughout. Tubes and pores bright yellow, quickly cyanescent, with pores somewhat uneven. Stipe 3-5 cm long, curved, equal to slightly enlarged downward, dry, bright yellow, instantly blue with handling, finely subpruinose above, more so below then faintly longitudinally ridged near base, with intense, substrigose dark red hairs at base, with interior as in pileus, dark red in the base. Spores smooth.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus acmenoides, E. saligna, Syncarpia, Allocasuarina. Gregarious. On soil.
