Description:
Pileus glutinous to viscid, orange brow (6E8-7E8) at first, soon near 5B6 and evenutally 3A6, 2-4 cm broad, convex to plano-convex. Flesh white, unchanging, up to 8 mm deep. Tubes white and deeply depressed at first, covered by glutinous veil, soon 6C4 and eventually 6D4 with maturity; pores concolorous, slightly darker pinkish brown with bruising. Stipe 4-7 cm long, 4-6 mm broad, white, alveolate-reticulate (coarsely), ±equal to tapered below, typically with remnants of glutinous, sordid yellow veil; interior solid, white, unchanging. NH4 - orange on yellow pileus. Spores irreg. pitted overall, with occasional isolated warts.
