Description:

Pileus 3.5-5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, tomentose to matted subtomentose, light gray brown to pale yellow to pinkish red to orangish pink. Flesh whitish, slowly tan when exposed with mildly fragrant odor and mild taste. Tubes adnate, shallow, grayish brown with narrow, labyrinthiform (possibly becoming favoloid, but young), grayish brown pores, without evident change. Stipe 4.5-8 cm long, 1.5-1.8 cm broad, equal with a taper at base, strict or curved, dull yellow to pale orange to reddish orange, subpruinose to compact subgranulose, with coarse shallow ridges, with interior whitish slowly tan above, unchanging below, white at base.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus grandis. Gregarious. On soil.
