Description:

Pileus 2.5-4 cm broad, hemispheric to convex, dry, a clay color to pale cinnamon brown with appressed felt-like patches, developing into appressed squamules, becoming pinkish-grayish brown, with margin sterile, thickened appendiculate veil remnants. Flesh white, reddish orange on exposure, eventually black, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, white at first, soon pale gray (young), staining reddish orange then black. Stipe 6-6.5 cm long, 8-10 mm broad, equal to tapering slightly toward base, curved, dry, white staining lightly reddish orange than black, with coarse reticulum and some apparent lanose veil remains, with interior white, reddish orange then black when exposed. Habitat:

Wet sclerophyll. Eucalyptus grandis, Eucalyptus sp. Gregarious. On soil.
