Description:

Pileus 3-9 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, finely subvelutinous and dark brown, to subtomentose and becoming finely areolate and cinamon brown to pale brown at margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and a very slight bitter taste. Tubes adnate, pinkish flesh color (6C-D5), staining brown, with pores in some brown. Stipe 3.5-6 cm long, 1-2 cm broad, equal and tapering at base, or equal and slightly broader below, dry, reticulate to base, with reticulum brown on a paler brown ground color, white at base, with interior white, unchanging.

Sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Acacia. Cespitose. In sand.
