Description:

Pileus up to 9 cm broad, plano-convex, with short tuberculate warts on disc, more suberect squamulose to appressed toward margin; the warts/scales are tan with red pink between, with age the warts collapsed to thin, barely areolate plaques, with tones of pink between. Pileus flesh yellow, cyanescent. Stipe flesh white, slowly brownish orange especially in the bulbous base. Stipe equal with a bulbous base, curved, with surface white to dingy white, some dull red at apex, fibrillose striate, pure white at the base.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Eucalyptus signata, Allocasuarina, Leptospermum. Solitary. On sand.
