Description:

Bright orange pileus, often paler if covered with sand; favoloid, adnate, hymenophore. Stipe often pointed at base, white or with various, scattered, yellow to orange pigments. One basidiome compressed and irregular in situ. Pleasant odor, with flesh staining a tan color. Spores subfusoid, slightly suballantoid in profile. Hymenial cystidia (pseudocystidia) present.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Kabali or Warrawonga Soil Landscape. Eucalyptus, Allocasuarina, Leptospermum. Scattered. On sand.
