Description:
Pileus convex, 7.9 cm diam, uneven, light ochraceous (6E5) with some fibrous fine scales. Flesh light yellow, becoming slightly blue when cut. Hymenophore lamellate, yellow (3A7), decurrent, going down at the stipe almost to the base; lamellae eroded at the margin, lamellulae present, veins seen at the lamellae and at the base of the hymenium, forming an almost subporoid surface beneath. Staining blue when brusied. Stipe 6 cm long, diam at the top 1.1 cm, 0.8 at the bottom, attenuating downwards, scaly or scurfy, scales are ywllo at the top concolorous with the lamellae like reminiscent of the under surface of the hymenophore, then becoming brown downwards, browhish ridges formed by the decurrent lamellae go down almost to the tip, leaving the last third of it without ridges, urface is creamy (5B3). Basal mycelium yellow. Flesh light yellow and at the tip is light brown. Taste and odor a little acrid. NH4 - lamellae turns light rust reddish; pileus turns vianceous (10F5).
