Description:

Pileus 2-3 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, subtomentose to matted subtomentose, light pink becoming pale olive greenish. Flesh white unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, pale vinaceous pink, with pores bruising slightly darker. Stipe 2-3 cm long, 3-5 mm broad, equal to somewhat broader in the mid-portion and tapering downward, white above, chrome yellow at base, with fine pink scabers scattered or sometimes confined to fine raised reticulate ridges, with interior white above, chrome yellow at base.

Dry sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Allocasuarina. Scattered. In sand.
