Description:

Pileus bittersweet orange, 3.5-5 cm broad, dry. Flesh white, staining pale brown slowly. Stipe white and with orange and/or yellow, usually tapered to a point. Tubes favoloid, with multiple levels of pores, grayish yellow (4B4), sometimes with orange pores. Staining pale brown. Spore print barely a pale tan. Spores oblong-elliptical to subreniform; hymenial cystdia (pseudocystidia) present.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Leptospermum, Eucalyptus, Syncarpia. Gregarious. On sand.
