Description:

Pileus 8.5 cm broad, plano-convex, tacky-sticky, maize yellow (4A6). Flesh white, unchanging. Bitter taste, mild odor. Tubes vinaceous pink, staining pale brown. Stipe 10 cm long, 1.5 cm broad, equal to slightly broader below, heavily reticulate to subalveolate, white with ridges dull yellow, developing orange yellow tones at base, with interior white, hollow.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus racemosa, Leptospermum, Syncarpia, Allocasuarina. Solitary. In sand.
