Description:

Pileus 8 cm broad, plano-convex, pale yellow, suede-like in places. White flesh, unchanging. Tubes adnexed, pinkish vinaceous. Stipe 9 cm x 1 cm, subclavate, alveolate reticulate, sticky, developing yellowish tints near base. Spore deposit reddish brown (8E7) when fresh.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll forest. Syncarpia, Eucalyptus, Allocasuarina, Leptospermum. Solitary. In sand.
