Location:

New Zealand. Taupo. Tongariro National Park, south part of park on road to ski lifts. Alt. 600 - 800 m. (1968 - 2625 ft.)

Description:

Sporocarp up to 5 cm broad, white staining blue green in situ (not from bruising on handling), matted evenly globosee to cerebriform. Peridium in sction white, up to 1 mm thick. Gleba at first white, dark brown with maturity, chambers gelatinous with age. White rhizomorphs present. Sterile base present, without sterile columella or sterile veins.
Habitat:

Temperate forest. Nothofagus fusca. Gregarious. On soil.
