Description:

Pileus 1.5-5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, matted tomentose to matted fibrillose, grayish yellow (4B-C5,4), even at margin. Flesh white, slowly pale brown when exposed, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnate to adnexed, pale yellowish white to very pale yellow, with pores bruising brown (not tubes). Stipe 1.5-3 cm long, 9-15 mm broad, dry, matted fibrillose, with velar zone, grayish yellow (as in pileus), bruising pale brown, with interior white, becoming brown when exposed, soon hollow and/or chambered.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Leptospermum, Syncarpia. Gregarious. In sand.
