Description:

Pileus 2-3 cm broad (fused pilei), dry, tan with a bit of pink on the disc. Flesh white, unchanging with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, vinaceous pinkish, staining pale brownish. Stipe 2.5-3 cm long, 4-9 mm broad, curved, equal and tapered at base, dry, white or becoming yellow with pink scabers, these sometimes on low ridges, chrome yellow at base, with interior white above, progressively more chrome yellow to base. Spores smooth, dextrinoid in Melzer's reagent. Pseudocystidia absent.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus, Corymbia, Angophora, Leptospermum. Gregarious. In sand.
