Description:

See 8754, 8763 from Feb 2006. Pileus 2.5-7.5 cm broad, plane to uplifted, dry, pale brownish olive, irregularly areolate cracked, finely subtomentose to finely subtomentose matted, unchanging when bruised. Flesh white, unchanging with mildly pleasant (sweetish) odor, and mild taste. Hymenophore subdecurrent, boletinoid to favoloid, pale yellowish white (4A2), staining pale cinnamon brown to pale brown. Stipe 2-3.5 cm long, 1-3. cm broad, tapering downward, dry, white at apex, pale tan with olive tints, finely subtomentose, white at base, with interior white, solid, unchanging.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus. Gregarious. On soil.
