Description:

Pileus 4-7 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, subtomentose to matted, bright and intense orange (6-7A,B,8). Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and slowly bitter taste. Hymenophore subdecurrent, elongate-favoloid, 2-3 mm long, radially arrnged, not staining, light yellow (4A5,4). Stipe 2-4 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, tapering downward, curved or strict, dry, bright orange (like pileus) above, sometimes light yellow, light yellow toward base, white to yellowish white at base.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Acacia, Eucalyptus. Gregarious. On soil.
