Description:

Pileus 2.5-6 cm broad, convex to plano-convex to plane, dry, white, sometimes developing pale ochcraceous tints, finely matted subtomentose, staining brown to reddish brown. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and mild to very tardily bitter taste. Hymenophore adnate to subdecurrent, grayish brown to tan brown (6E5,4; 6D3), staining dark brown to black. Stipe 2-5 cm long, 8-25 mm broad, equal to tapering downward, central to eccentric to lateral, dry, white with a very fine and pale brown pruina, staining brown to reddish brown, with interior white, solid, unchanging, white basal mycelium.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Acacia, Eucalyptus. Gregarious. On soil.
