Description:

Gregarious. Pileus 3-4 cm, plane, areolate, dark brown (7F5) to chraceous (6E6), margins even, blue with ammonia. Hymenophore lamellate, long decurrent, yellow (3A7), lamellulae present, venations conspicuous, blueing when bruised. Stipe 3.2 x 0.6-0.7 cm, equal with longitudinal ridges at the toe where the lamellae attach, then scaly, yellowish at the top (3A4), brownish ochraceous downwards (5C6). White basal mycelium. Flesh whitish or plae yellow (3A2), blueing at the pileus when exposed. Odor and taste mild.
