Description:

Pileus 8.5 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, orange fading to tan, subtomentose to matted subtomentose. Flesh light orange, unchanging with exposure, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnexed, olive green, unchanging when exposed, with pores orange brown. somewhat darker brown when bruised. Stipe 10 x 2 cm, dry, curved, subequal to slightly broader toward base, glabrous to fibrillose streaked, orange to yellowish orange, whitish to buff at the base, with interior pale orange, unchanging when exposed.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus acmenoides, E. saligna, Syncarpia, Allocasuarina. Solitary. On soil.
