Description:

Pileus 6-9 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, tomentose to matted tomentose, becoming finely areolate toward margin, brown (7E8), with even margin, with NH4 pale yellow at point of application, deep maroon surrounding spot from vapor. Flesh white with a slight pinkish cast under pileipellis, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae decurrent, crowded, grayish yellow (4C6), not staining blue when bruised, with even edges, not anastomosed. Stipe 6-7 cm long, 10-13 mm broad, equal to tapering downward, curved, dry, faintly subpruinose above, appressed fibrillose striate below, pale brown, white at base, with interior white above, pale tan below.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus acmenoides, E. saligna, Syncarpia, Allocasuarina. Gregarious. On soil.
