Description:

Pileus 2-5 cm broad, hemispheric to convex to plano-convex, dry, subvelutinous, dark brown at first, then pale brown to cinnamon brown (6D-E7), with NH4=pale brown at spot, lilac maroon to light purple maroon around spot of application. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnate to subdecurrent, dull yellow to yellow, light rusty brown at first when bruised slowly cyanescent, with even edges. Stipe 2-4 cm long, 5-10 mm broad, equal to tapering slightly downward, strict to curved, dry, pale brown, subtomentose to fibrillose striate, with white mycelium at base, with interior white above, pale brown below, unchanging.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus sp., Melaleuca sp., Allocasuarian sp., various Myrtaceae. Gregarious. On soil.
