Description:

Pileus 6-8.5 cm broad, convex to plane, dry, matted tomentose, (see dark gray olive colors of previous collections from this locality), in this becoming brownish gray (6E4) with age and exposure. Otherwise, having the bright lemon yellow tubes that stain bronwish orange, the heavily alveolate reticulate stipe that is lemon yellow above, and concolorous with pileus below and yellow at base that stains an orange brown. The flesh is the greenish yellow that develops an orange brown stain with exposure. NH4 (dark brown on yellow part of stipe).

Montane cloud forest. Quercus seemanii. Gregarious. On soil.
