Description:

Pileus 2-9 cm broad, convex to plane, dry, finely subvelutinous to velutinous to tomentose, dark brown becoming yellow brown and finely areolate at margin. NH4 pinkish lilac on pileus and stipe. Flesh yellow, cyanescent, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae subdecurrent to decurrent, close, yellow at first then orange yellow with age, with even edges, cyanescent. Stipe 2-6 cm long, 0.4-2 cm broad, equal to tapering downward, dry, appressed fibrillose, yellow at apex, brownish downward, with white mycelium at abase, with interior pale yellow becoming pale pinkish cyanescent above.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus, Leptospermum, Syncarpia glomulifera. Scattered. On sand.
