Description:

Pileus 3.5-6 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, subtomentose, yellowish brown (5D5,4). Flesh white or just with a hint of pale yellow, lightly cyanescent if at all. Lamellae subdecurrent, bright yellow becoming dark yellow, close, with even edges, cyanescent. Stipe 5-8 cm long, 8-10 mm broad, usually curved, dry, yellow at apex, whitish to pale tan to pale brown downward, with a heavy pruina becoming scabrous especially so downward, with white mycelium at base, with interior white with a hint of cyanescence confined to apex. NH4 pinkish lilac on pileus and stipe.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus microcorys, Syncarpia hillii. Gregarious. On sand.
