Description:

Pileus 4-6.5 cm broad, plane, dry, subtomentose, dark brown to light brown (7E-F8-7), dull greenish blue with NH4 (around point of application; the latter is dull orange). Context 1-2 cm thick, white to pale yellow, erratically changing to light greenish blue in places. Hymenophore decurrent, lamellate, rarely anastomosed; lamellae bright yellow to dull yellow, staining blue green then changing to light brown, 1 cm broad. Stipe 2.5-5 cm long, 5-8 mm broad, curved and subclavate to clavate, dry, subpruinose, yellow at apex, very pale pinkish brown, but with white toward base; basal mycelium white; interior as in pileus, solid becoming hollow.

Montane cloud forest. Quercus seemannii. Gregarious. On moss.
