Description:

Gasterocarps up to 3 cm broad, globose to subglobose to flattened, irregular in outline, dry, white assuming bluish green stains with exposure, appressed fibrillose. Gleba white, then pale pinkish, becoming dark brown, sometimes with the bluish green stains, moist, finely loculose. Peridium very thin (<1 mm). Arising from copious white rhizomorphs, with basal sterile pad. Generally with a cartilaginous consistency.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Eucalyptus signata, Leptospermum, Allocasuarina littoralis, Eucalyptus pilularis. Hypogeous and gregarious. In sand.
