Description:

Pileus 1-5 cm broad, convex, viscid (wet weather), or glutinous when very young, soon smooth leather-like-areolate (nearly like suede, but not cracking), pale yellow (4A4) on disc, whiter toward margin, with white appendiculate veil remnants at margin. Flesh white, unchanging with mild odor and bitter taste. Tubes adnexed, whitish or with slight pinkish tint (young). Stipe 5-9 cm long, 8-10 mm broad, subclavate, white, lacunose reticulate, with reticulum becoming gelatinous from handling, developing orangish yellow stains with age, with interior solid, white, unchanging.
Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Allocasuarina, Eucalyptus, Syncarpia, Lophostemon. Gregarious. In sand.
