Description:

Pileus 3-6 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, moist and sticky but not with gluten, with suede-like texture, white to very pale yellow, sometimes with pale brown to pinkish brown areas, with white, sterile, appendiculate margin fragments. Odor mild to slightly fragrant, with bitter taste from sticky/subviscid areas. Flesh white, unchanging. Tubes adnexed, white at first, soon becoming vinaceous pink. Stipe 4-9 cm long, 7-13 mm broad, with some gluten above, soon disappearing, white overall at first, lacunose-reticulate, developing scattered yellowish stains toward and at base with age, with interior becoming hollow, white, with yellowish tints in base with age, with white basal mycelium.

Dry sclerophyll. Eucalyptus, Syncarpia, Leptospermum. Scattered. In sand.
