Description:

Pileus 4-5 cm broad, convex, dry, with appendiculate veil remains, with dark brown to black, large felty patches, with pale gray between. Flesh white, changing to black, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore gray to black, staining red then black when gray. Stipe 4.5-7 cm long, 6-9 mm broad, equal to slightly broader at base, white above, matted black and felty below, with interior white and solid changing to red then black.
Habitat:

Allocasuarina, Acacia, Eucalyptus. gregarious. soil.
