Description:
Pileus 1-1.5 cm broad, convex, subviscid, matted subtomentose, sulphur yellow when young, developing brown tints with age. Flesh pale persian red, unchanging, with mildly pungent odor and peppery taste. Tubulose hymenophore decurrent, radially oriented, persian red, unchanging. Stipe 1.5-2.5 cxm long, 2-5 mm broad, equal, dry, persian red above, yellow below, bright sulphur yellow at base, pruinose to subfibrillose.
