Description:

Pileus 3 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, very finely matted subtomentose, reddish orange (7A-B8), dry, even at margin. Flesh white, slowly pale tan, with mild odor and taste. Tubes adnate, shallow, yellowish white to a pale dull whitish pink, staining brown. Stipe 8 x 1 cm, dry, clavate and curved at base, orangish yellow with splashes of orange, densely and finely subpruinose with a subtle hint of low longitudinal ridges, with interior white and slowly changing to tan with exposure, white at base.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll. Allocasuarina torulosa, Backhousia myrtifolia, Syncarpia glomulifera, Eucalyptus pellita (red mahogany). Solitary. On soil.
