Description:

Pileus 1.5-5.5 cm broad, convex to plane, dry, subtomentose to matted subtomentose, coppery red (7C-D7,6). Flesh white, changing to pale pinkish brown with fragrant odor and mild taste. Tubes subdecurrent, very shallow, whitish to pale pinkish flesh color, staining brown; pores likewise. Stipe 2.5-7.5 cm long, 1-1.5 cm broad, dry, subpruiose to subfibrillose streaked, white at apex and orange to orange yellow below, white at base, ±equal to somewhat broader below, pinched at the base.
Habitat:

Dipetrocarp forest. Dipterocarpus, Shorea, Hopea. Gregarious. On soil.
