Description:

Velvety red cap, becoming areolate toward margin. Unchanging. Stipe pale yellow at apex, white below, with fine red scabers. White flesh in stipe.

Sclerophyll. Syncarpia, Lophostemon, Leptospermum. Solitary. In sand.
