Description:

Pileus brown, finely areolate, dark brown. Flesh white, cyanescent then pale brownish red becoming black. Tubes dull olive, obscurely cyanescent then dull red. Stipe white above, pale brown below, finely subpruinose to matted, with flesh white, cyanescent then dull and pale brown eventually black, deep brownish red in base. Cyanogranules (+) in p-pellis; hyphae with brown contents, sometimes faintly encrusted, with palisadal orientation and constricted septa; subpellis blue green. St-pellis with clusters of short-clavate caulocystidia, frequently with cyanogranules (+), pale blue green to pale brown.
Habitat:

Sclerophyll forest. Eucalyptus racemosa, Leptospermum, Syncarpia, Allocasuarina. Solitary.
